Steve Zimmerman – Founding Partner

Steve brings to your church a wealth of experience in developing a comprehensive staff ministry for the local church with over 30 years of wisdom and knowledge learned serving Georgia, North Carolina and Virginia churches ranging from 50 to over 800 in worship. His well-rounded people skills bring various groups together to focus on common goals. He has also served local churches as a key support staff member during three pastoral transitions. He coordinates the work of the partnership and assists churches in south central Virginia with their needs.

Paul Raybon

Reverend Doctor Paul Raybon is currently the Co-Pastor at Hominy Baptist Church in Candler, North Carolina, and has served in Administration, Christian Education, Pastoral Care, and Campus Ministry for more than 30 years in North Carolina and West Virginia. Paul received his Certificate in Christian Leadership Coaching in 2008 under the coaching of Eddie Hammett and Chad Hall.

He has also served as an Instructor for the FOUNDATIONS Judson Communities of Central Baptist Theological Seminary, and Adjunct Professor at M. Christopher White School of Divinity at Gardner-Webb University, as a Church Administration and Christian Education Consultant for North Carolina Baptists, and as the Church Life Team Chair and Chair of the Coordinating Council for the WNC Baptist Fellowship (formerly WNC Baptist Network). He is past chair of the CBFNC Spiritual Formation Advisory Team and a member of the board of WNC Baptist Collegiate Ministries.. Paul is the convener for the WNC Peer Group for staff ministers and a partner in the Barnabas Partnership, serving churches in Western North Carolina

A native of Marietta, Georgia, Paul has been married since 1989 and has two children. He earned his B.A. at Berry College, M.Div. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and his Ed. D. in Educational Leadership at UNC-Charlotte.

Jerry Chiles

Jerry Chiles lives in Raleigh, NC and has ministered in congregations in Kentucky, Georgia and North Carolina. Jerry brings to the partnership a variety of ministry experiences in youth ministry, senior adult ministry, mission involvement, adult formation ministry, leadership development, and developing evangelism processes. He also is a Certified Life Coach through Coach Approach Ministries and Certified Emotional Intelligence Trainer through TalentSmart. As a teacher and coach he communicates well, encouraging participants to experience relevant concepts. Supporting spiritual self- discovery in individuals and churches is his ultimate goal. Jerry assists churches in the Triangle area of North Carolina (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill).

Rick Jordan

With over 30 years of ministry experience, Dr. Rick Jordan enjoys leading retreats and training events for church leaders and for ministers. He has been a denominational leader, a pastor, an associate pastor, a chaplain, and a youth minister. Rick has written Bible study curriculum for two publishers for over six years and is now self-publishing the Central Truths of the Bible series. He is the author of the book, The Alphabet of Errors: How to Teach the Bible Better. He is also a published poet. Rick is President of Great Bible Teachers, a ministry that “helps good Bible teachers become great Bible teachers.” He assists the partnership with churches in the Piedmont of North Carolina.
